For our client, a multinational perfumery and cosmetics chain, we are looking for a Category Manager.

Role Purpose: The Category Manager is responsible for efficiently managing the product portfolio, identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing the commercial strategy to maximize sales and profitability. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, as well as implementing innovative initiatives to develop product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the entire product lifecycle within the portfolio.
• Analyzing category performance to identify opportunities and risks.
• Conducting market research to identify new brands and relevant trends.
• Negotiating contracts and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Planning and implementing omnichannel marketing activities.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover, margin, and stock quality.
• Collaborating with Planning, Marketing, and E-commerce teams to align strategies.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in category management, preferably in cosmetics and perfumery or Pharma.
• Excellent negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis and market trend interpretation.
• Experience in planning and implementing marketing campaigns.
• Ability to make strategic decisions based on data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
