For our client, a Multinational chain of cosmetic stores, we are looking for a Project Manager Supply Chain. This job is a fixed-term contract of 2.5 years.

Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Project Manager will be responsible for implementing one new warehouse in the Balkan cluster – Romania and Bulgaria. This role involves efficient project planning and execution, supplier management, and team coordination to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Execution

• Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and required resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure efficient warehouse implementation.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address any emerging issues.

2. Supply Chain and Logistics Optimization

• Optimize logistics, warehousing, and inventory management processes.
• Implement best practices in order fulfillment and distribution.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align operational processes.

3. Supplier and Logistics Partner Management

• Manage relationships with suppliers and 3PL partners to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Negotiate contracts and secure the best commercial terms.

4. Risk and Budget Management

• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success.
• Oversee project budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.

5. Leadership and Team Coordination

• Lead project teams by providing support, guidance, and motivation to achieve objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven experience in project management, in warehouse implementation or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and warehouse operations.

Essential Skills

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with suppliers, logistics partners, and 3PL providers.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.
• Familiarity with logistics and regulatory environments in the Balkan region (a plus).
